I was watching a review of Thomas And Friends: The Great Race uploaded by The Unlucky Tug himself, and I was shocked to hear him rant on and on about how bad the movie was, and you know how I reacted? I had a negative reaction to his review, and this is what I said to him:
"Crafted so poorly!?" You need to get your eyes and brain checked, you obviously don't see the big picture, sure the music is good, but that's not the point, the point is the reason you're so blind to this is because it's not just to sell merchandise, but introduce characters who are part of the story even though they are just minor or just background characters who just have one line in the story, how things happen are just part of the script, not your version of the script, and someone has already beaten to you to it, granted, yes, there should be a more fleshed out plot for Gordon and the Flying Scotsman, but there's a problem with that, Gordon is just too pompous and doesn't seem to care about anyone other than himself, now he's already past that in the RWS, but this is another problem that you don't even seem to grasp, Gordon is portrayed differently in the TV series than he was in the books, that much I can see, but you can't, you can't grasp the situation that Gordon would be put in, because he thinks that he's the only one to pull the express, which inflates his ego, and there lies another problem, if Gordon wasn't as he is now, the events of Edward And Gordon would never happen, Thomas And the Magic Railroad would have gone differently, The adventure Begins would never take place, Sodor's Legend Of The Lost Treasure would never happen, and to top it off, The Great Race would never be the same, all of that would never even happen if Gordon acted like he did in the first place, nobody would even watch the cartoon or read read the books because no one would actually care, this is why I hate Gordon in the cartoon more than I did for his RWS counterpart, his RWS counterpart I understand because I respect him for his own humility in the RWS rather than the cartoon, because let's face it, Gordon's cartoon counterpart won't learn humility anytime soon, he's too stuck up because of his ego, pride, and his own ideals, it's no wonder that Sir Topham Hatt still keeps him around, Sir Topham hatt should have sent him packing before Diesel came along, but that's what I'll get on to in another time, because this review seems to focus more on Gordon than anyone else, no wonder you have any idea at all, your review doesn't do any justice, to you, it's Gordon And Friends rather than Thomas And Friends, because you and the cartoon version of Gordon share some similarities, but that's where the similarities end, the only thing that's different because you finish talking as soon as you stop ranting about how bad the cartoon is, the cartoon version Gordon never stops boasting about being the only engine to pull the express like it's only duty and job, you make Gordon look like a more sober version of himself, you are an embarrassment to any Thomas And Friends fan, who are watching and reading your comments, and here's what you haven't done...reading between the lines A.K.A paying full attention to to the details, man...no wonder you rarely pay attention to the bigger things and even make an bigger excuse to rant about the lesser details, that's just asking for trouble.
In my defense, I'm right in my own way, people like him don't even care about the big picture, they're just too ignorant to see it, though some might argue. What point is there to argue about? it's just a movie, nothing more!
